I. New features
1. Compatibility with DWG format of AutoCAD 2010-2011
Based on the latest ODA library, GstarCADfully supports the DWG formats up to AutoCAD 2011.

2. AutoXlsTable: Data Interaction between Excel Table and Drawing
The unique function of AutoXlsTable not only makes it possible to insert any Excel table to an opening drawing by a simple click, but also to build data interrelation between original Excel table and the drawing.

By using AutoXlsTable, complicated table drawing becomes extremely easy and simple. Statistics like quantity of blocks, length or area of certain kind of entity in the table is possible to be interrelated to current drawing. Any modification made to the drawing (like deleting a block) automatically updates the table and keep it always consistent with the drawing.

GstarCAD 2010's brand-new In-place MTEXT Editor is almost the same to the advanced AutoCAD, it will make your work experience more efficient with new and improved functions, such as a new text formatting toolbar, a new dialog box for formatting paragraphs, and a new display options menu. Thus, you can create and edit text objects freely as in other professional word processing software.

4. Xref refedit
With GstarCAD it is possible to switch between editing external reference or not.

5. E-transmit
E-transmit provides functions of drawing file backup and data transmitting by email, making the data exchange between designers or companies smoother and easier.

6. Associative Dimension
Associative Dimension function builds dynamic association between the dimension change and annotation update in model space. It helps to simplify the modification of entities with annotation in drawing.

7. Aerial View
"Aerial View" helps to quickly modify the place of view in the current viewport and position the drawing.

8. DWG File Preview Plug-in
With installation of GstarCAD, thumbnails display of DWG files under Windows Explorer helps to location drawings more quickly and easily.

II. Improvements of API interface

1. GRX
GRX interface provides a high degree of compatibility with ARX. Developers only need to simply adjust and recompile the source codes to transplant application software originally developed on AutoCAD platform to GstarCAD.

2. VBA
Fully compatible with AutoCAD. By loading VBA application source based on AutoCAD platform and simply replace "Acad" with "Gcad", it is able to run on GstarCAD platform.

3. Vlisp
Directly read VLX file and directly loaded to run FAS file
